Poems of One’s Life
In many ways, life itself is poetry. The poems that emerge from one’s life may at times seem foreboding and sad, or they may draw upon other emotions as well as a wide spectrum of circumstances through which one lives. Many poems have been written about love, while others look at life with a tenor of whimsy. In this book, Kevin has included eighty-seven original poems that emerge from those different emotions and life experiences. Each is accompanied by an annotation explaining something about Kevin’s thinking regarding the genesis of each poem, yet leaves an openness for the reader to find his/her own meanings within the verse. Together, the annotations and poems provide a glimpse into the steps and stages of Kevin’s life.

Mystical Dreams of a Sojourner: A Journey About Faith
Genuine mystical experiences can have an impact on our spiritual development and in drawing us closer to God, as well as to each other. Our desire for truth and good cannot be satisfied just through the knowledge of created things in the natural world. It is through mystical encounters that we are given special graces by God that lead us deeper into our relationship with God and to a greater fulfillment of our faith. In life, each of us is a sojourner along a path that God has placed before us. Our secular world makes it difficult for some to take this journey, but for those who do what can be revealed to them is a beautiful beatitude and joy. In this book, Kevin describes some mystical dreams he experienced that were part of his sojourn along his faith journey. His reflections on those dreams provide an unfiltered perception about the intimacy of mystical experiences and what they mean in life. Perhaps what Kevin shares can help lead others to their own closer encounters with God and what He has in store for them.
